ABOUT THE EVENT

School's Out: Beach Party is your official kickoff to summer! This event is the perfect opportunity for the entire family to kick back, relax and dip your toes in the sand as the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department turns Town Square Park into a Beach Party! Listen to your favorite beach themed music, sip on fruity cocktails and mocktails, and enjoy some of your favorite beach games with family and friends! School's Out: Beach Party is the perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year and kick off summer vacation!

The United City of Yorkville would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who took part in the 2025 School's Out: Beach Party! This year's event was a huge success that included a foam pit provided by our Event Partner, Foam Party All Stars, inflatable axe throwing & gag pits hosted by Cub Scouts Pack 340, Waubonsee Steel Drum Band, Johnny Russler and The Beach Bum Band performances AND a special dance performance from YPAC's Teen Beach Dancers!

Event-goers also enjoyed tiki mocktails & cocktails, delicious food from local vendors, beach games and activities including a mechanical surfboard, tidal wave water slide, limbo, volleyball, sandpits, Kan Jam, beachballs, custom surfboard creations and more!
